Have you ever noticed, towards the changing mood of nature! Changes such as lack of rain on time, excessive heat, low water level in the ground, unseasonal rain, shortening of the age of the winter season, etc. indicate the natural mood.
Although humans have many problems related to natural, but the most serious problem among them is global warming. Due to which not only our country but the whole world is panic-stricken. This problem is harming not only humans, but every living being on the earth. We humans are the father of this problem, so we have to find the solution too.
Meaning of Global Warming
Let us now understand what is this global warming?
Global Warming' is the English word, whose meaning is clarified, 'Global' means 'whole world' and warming means 'heat', so the definition of global warming is as follows: 'The worldwide increase in the temperature of the earth is called 'Global Warming'.
The role of carbon dioxide gas is important in global warming, as it is a heat absorber gas. So in other words - when the amount of carbon-dioxide in the atmosphere increases, the temperature of the atmosphere increases. This change in temperature is called global warming.
Due to 'global warming', events like increase in the temperature of the earth, change in weather, melting of icebergs and glaciers, rise in sea level are being seen.
Reason of 'Global Warming'
Green House Gas
Green house gas is the main cause of global warming. The gases that come under greenhouse gas are carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, methane, chloro-fluoro carbon, etc. In the past 20 years, the amount of carbon dioxide has increased forty times, and since industrialization it has increased by 100 times. Although carbon dioxide is necessary to keep the earth's atmosphere warm, but excessive increase in it will make the earth's atmosphere hot, which will be intolerable for the living beings on this earth.
Although organisms generate carbon dioxide through respiration, but such gases are also produced by the equipment used for their convenience. Such as air conditioner, fridge, car, scooter etc. Apart from this, petroleum fuels and conventional stoves are the biggest sources of carbon dioxide emissions.
The gas 'Hydro Chloro-Fluoro Carbon' being used in India is the most harmful greenhouse gas, which is a thousand times more harmful than carbon dioxide.

Damage to the Ozone layer
Among the many layers of the atmosphere, one layer is ozone. It is a kind of protective shield of the earth. It protects us from harmful ultraviolet rays coming from the sun. But according to scientists, it has been accepted that there is a hole in this layer. Due to which the temperature of the atmosphere is increasing and the icebergs are melting.
Fertilizers and Pesticides
Fertilizers and pesticides used to protect crops from insects in the fields are harmful to the environment. They not only pollute the soil but also release gases like carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide into the environment which are responsible for global warming.
Effects of Global Warming
(i) Due to the increase of global warming, its effect has become very clear in few years. According to the US Geological Survey, there used to be 150 glaciers in Montana Glacier National Park, but now only 25 remain because of its impact.
(ii) Hurricanes are becoming more dangerous and powerful due to major climate change. Natural storms are becoming more powerful by taking energy from temperature differences. The year 2012 has been recorded as the warmest year since 1895 and the year 2003 along with 2013 was recorded as the warmest year since 1880.
(iii) Many climate changes have taken place due to global warming such as increase in summer season, decrease in cold season, increase in temperature, change in wind-circulation, non-seasonal rain, melting of snow peaks, ozone Layer erosion, severe storm, cyclone, flood, drought etc.
(iv) If global warming continues to increase in this way, all the icy places will melt and lose their existence. Nowadays the heat is increasing more and in winter the cold is getting less. When we look at the survey, we come to know that the temperature of the earth is increasing gradually.
(v) Cancer-like disease can occur due to the increase of carbon-dioxide gas.
(vi) Due to global warming, desert is expanding and many species of animals and birds are also becoming extinct.
(vii) Due to the increase of global warming, the amount of oxygen is also decreasing, due to which the ozone layer is getting weaker.
Fatal Consequences of Global Warming
The gases that increase the temperature of the atmosphere are called greenhouse gases. According to scientists, if the emission of these gases continues like this, then in the 21st century, the temperature of the earth can increase by 3 degrees to 8 degrees Celsius.
If this happens, its consequences will be very fatal. Glacier icebergs will melt, sea level will rise. Due to which many parts of the earth will be submerged in water.
This Destruction will be many times greater than the Destruction caused by a world war, earthquake or flood.

Measures to prevent global warming
1. To conduct awareness campaign among the people. For this, the cooperation of government agencies, business leadership, private sectors and NGOs etc. should be taken. The work of awareness campaign will not be done by any one nation, it is necessary to do this work by every nation.
2. Solutions should be found for harmful gases emitted from vehicles and industries, so that global warming can be reduced.
3. There should be a thorough inspection of the polluting vehicle and if necessary, such vehicle should be banned.
4. Use of air-conditioner should be reduced. The CFC gases released from air-conditioners heat the atmosphere.
5. By stopping the felling of trees, more and more trees should be planted.
6. LED should be used instead of bulb which consumes more energy.
7. The things which cannot be destroyed should be reused with the help of recycling.
8. Electricity should be used according to the need.
9. Plastic packaging should be used less.
10. Renewable sources of energy should be used.
11. Use gas chulha instead of conventional chulha.
12. Population growth should be controlled.
13. Prohibition on burning of waste in open environment.
14. Adopt carpool system.
15. Use of public transport instead of private vehicles.
Global Warming Awareness
Taking the problem of global warming seriously, all countries should come together to pass a law. Seminars should be organized to make people aware of its consequences, advertisements should be put in place, so that all the people can know and become aware of its fatal consequences. This problem is not of any one but of all those who are breathing on the earth.
There is no cure to stop global warming. It can be fought only by spreading awareness about it. We have to make our earth truly 'Green'. In order to reduce our 'carbon footprints' (a measure of per capita carbon emissions), the population has to stop growing. The more we keep the environment around us free from pollution, the bigger role we will play in saving this earth.

If humans did not solve it, then one has to be prepared for its dire consequences. Lest the very existence of the earth be destroyed.
